Michael, reading that blog of hers actually made me feel a bit ill.
You are doing a WONDERFUL job at the Parchment and Pen blog and I do hope no criticism will ever stop you from doing what you are doing. You and I do not agree on every doctrine, but I REALLY respect your willingness to both teach and learn from people who are not exactly in the same doctrinal line as yourself. You have heroic tendencies even, I would say. It can be scary to put yourself out there for people to throw verbal stones at. I pray that God will give you that cushion of love that just lets those stones fall to the ground without doing injury.
Joanie D.
Joanie, you have the gift of encouragment! Thank you.
Aw come on… that site contained the best of logic, scholarship, and persuasion! ;^)

I echo Joanie’s sentiments. I’ve benefited greatly as well. Even though I may not agree with everything/everyone it’s the fair treatment of the issues overall that’s super.

You can take the person out of the legalistic church; but apparently you can’t take the legalism out of the person!
Now where did I lay may red-letter KJV?
Wow, the word “poison” in the first sentence!
My guess would be that being on the wrong end of that blogger’s criticism is something I would proclaim with pride. Anything he/she hates so strongly MUST be right!
Ah, another watchpuppy wasting precious time nipping at other believers instead of focusing on what’s important.
Man she’s tough! And probably in need of a little church history. Maybe you could teach her a thing a two if you weren’t so darn liberal.
